Braxton went to have his check up at the doctor's last week and the boy is seriously a man-child! He is 98% for height measuring at 46.5 inches tall & 95% for weight at 49lbs. Our doctor was joking saying that I shouldn't be surprised if after school starts next year I get a call from the basketball coach (LOL). He also went to Kindergarten registration and we were able to tour his school, meet some teachers, & scope out his classmates. It brought back so many memories of being in Elementary school & we are very excited for Braxton to attend Harmony next year. He & I get to go again next month to spend a little more time getting to know teachers and classmates which will be really great for his confidence & maybe mine too :D
As for Ty he turned 17 months old this month. He thinks he can do almost anything Braxton can do. More power to him, but sometimes I have to bring him back to reality and remind him that he isn't a 4 yr. old. He enjoys brushing his own teeth (I help of course at the end), throwing away his diaper in the trash (yeah I gave up on cloth diapers. It's a long story), playing cars, walking around (but mostly running) through the yard, helping Shane with anything he is doing, & being close to Braxton. He has accumulated a few more words over the weekend like "uck" for truck, Grama, & Grampa. Love this stage right now!
Boys were happy to entertain Coda &
his mama Bits for two days.
Braxton & his preschool buddies

Braxton will miss these boys next year!
Boys will be Boys
Ty couldn't get over this giant scarecrow.
He kept touching his shoe and then laughing.
Ty noticed the fake raccoon in the tree stump.
He thought it was the funniest thing.
Braxton's classmates for two years & all will be missed including his amazing teachers Mrs. Short-Miller & Mrs. Rairdenz
Braxton helping me put Ty down to bed by reading him a story!
