We had a fabulous Thanksgiving with my parents!! My mom and I spent the day slaving away in the kitchen while Braxton made sure Shane and my dad were entertained. Braxton wasn't too sure about eating the turkey, but he didn't have a problem eating my mom's pumpkin pie (smart kiddo). We had so much to be thankful for this year...Shane's job, a healthy little boy, and amazing family & friends!
On Monday we went to my hairdresser who gave Braxton his first professional haircut. He did extremely well for having to sit still and have scissors cutting his hair left and right! (Honestly, I think it was due to the fact that my hairdresser, Amy, looks like a Playmate...such a guy). Shane and I miss his long locks, but love how this new hair-do makes him look like such a little boy! (Don't worry grandparents his hair isn't always in a fo-hawk :P )
Ryker was all about his family. We were everything to him. What better name could we have come up with for our family blog link than "Rykers Ohana". It didn't even occur to us at the time that Ryker would ever die. Even though he is in doggie heaven he will always remain with us in our memories. We miss him everyday.
Shane and I have been married for 13 yrs. and have two amazing boys, Braxton & Ty. We live in the best city on the Westside of WA and couldn't imagine raising our family anywhere else!
