7 months baby!

Ty's little buddy Emmitt who is 8 months old

Over half a half year has gone by and Ty is 7 months old!! At his Dr.'s visit I was surprised when they told me that he was "small" for his age. He was only 20% in weight & 15% in height. I thought for sure they'd tell me that Ty was a chunk because Braxton was such a long & lean baby. Anyway, as Dr. Herdman says "he's not the tallest kid in his class". Ty enjoys trying out new foods and even attempting the sippy cup. He loves eating carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, sweet potatoes & turkey, peas, applesauce, & pears. He's mastered the sippy cup with help of course. He's an excellent sleeper, sits up by himself, hasn't started to crawl (it's just around the corner), pulls himself up, talks non-stop (& pretty sure he says "Ra-Ra"), & loves to cuddle. He fits our family to a "T" (haha).

Happy Father's Day Shane

I know that I don't tell you enough how incredible you are as a father & husband. The way you love, play, protect, & provide for your family is amazing!! I love seeing how much Braxton looks up to you and wants to do EVERYTHING his Daddy does. If Ty could talk I think he'd say that he loves seeing you walk in the room & your kisses. Couldn't have asked for a better Daddy to help raise our boys! Happy Father's Day Baby! We love you!!

Got John Deere?

One of the first things Braxton wanted to do this morning was ride his John Deere tracker (Grandpa Wahl would be proud). We've had this tracker way before we moved out here, but never had a lot of chances to use it. Our driveway was steep and riding it in the street was not something I was very fond of. Now that we have a super long driveway that's flat there is no reason not to drive it! I took advantage of the boys being willing to let me take pictures of them & thought I'd share them with y'all.

Looking Good Boys!

Last Day of Preschool

Wednesday Braxton completed his first year of preschool!! Seriously could this be true? It was kind of exciting to know that we made it through the first real "big kid" milestone and now could enjoy our first summer break. Had a wonderful year meeting new friends & couldn't have asked for better preschool teachers!

"Moving to the country gonna eat a lot of peaches..."

That's right we moved on Memorial weekend! It sure was a busy couple of days moving majority of what we own to our new place. We couldn't have done it without the help of our parents & friends who worked their butts off to make this move happen!! We felt very thankful for everyone's hard work. Moving was bitter sweet for us because our old house held so many wonderful memories and still feels like home. However, I can't control my excitement of how many memories we'll make here & raising our boys in such an open space couldn't be better for our family.
