Our little oasis

If you haven't ever been to Crescent bar then you don't know what you're missing! Having grown up only a half hour away we find it comical that we choose to vacation there. It all began three years ago when our friends, Kyrsten & Duane Visser asked us to join them on their vacation. Our days were filled with swimming at the pool ALL day long, eating some amazing BBQ (thanks Duane & Shane), sun tanning, playing at the river, & forgeting about life for a little while. We hope to continue this tradition for as long as possible!

Ty's first time in the pool (he loved it!)

Braxton learning to kick (he did swim by himself after the first day)

 The babes

 The crew

Kids LOVED getting a chance to ride in the golf cart

 Beautiful Sunset from our condo
 More than friends!

 I love my family

Best quote from Ella to Braxton:

We ended our vacation with lunch at Grama & Grampa's house in Wentachee

Lynden Fair 2012

This year Homax paid for families to attend the Lynden Fair! Apparently I was too busy this year to take pictures, but I'm sure one can guess what my boys enjoyed the most.

B was thrilled that there was a firetruck again this year!

Couldn't get him off of this thing :D

Ty is 9 months old!

Oh my goodness I can't believe we only have 3 more months until Ty is a year old!! Let's see what is the little boss man doing these days: eating (solids & still nursing), laughing, talking (baby babble), learning to wave "hi" & "bye", wins us over with his smile and gorgeous brown eyes, crawling (the boy is VERY fast), pulls himself up, drinking from a sippy cup, experienced his first time in a swimming pool (he's a fish just like his big brother), when Ty falls down Braxton will come racing to save him with his emergency vehicles (the sweetest thing ever to witness), still taking two naps a day (praise the LORD), sprouting two teeth, & loves to bounce up & down to music :D We LOVE our Ty Ty!

A little bit of this. A little bit of that.

I have so many things that have happened in the last month that I can't decide which event to post first. So I'm going to kinda put a bunch of events together into one. Needless to say our summer has been packed full of fun events:

Celebrating 10 years of marriage in August

Riding the mower with Shane (the best!)

 Playing in the back yard
(Thanks Grama & Grampa!)

Reconnecting with Jenni who moved to AZ
(Miss you!)

Ty was happy to see his friend Jada!
Kristi & I have known each other since we were 6yrs old! Loved seeing her while she was here visiting from New York!!

 Nanna coming to visit!

 Helped host/decorate for
Bits & Dustin's baby shower

Family Photo Shoot

At the end of June we did what most families do these days & what most husbands dread...a family photo shoot! I have been wanting to have this done ever since I met my friend Julie Harrell @ MOPS 4 yrs ago. Julie is an incredible photographer & we fell in love with her style. I am beyond thrilled that I have these amazing photo's of my family to cherish for years to come! I'd love to post all of the pictures, but there is just too many (113 to be exact!). Here are a few of my favorite shots: (Julie didn't ask me to put in a plug, but if you are interested in having family photo's done, are pregnant, have kids, engaged, getting married, or whatever please take a look at her website. You don't have to live in Bellingham to enquirer about her services http://julieharrell.com/)
