Our house had gone to the birds; Angry Birds that is!

Somehow in our parental minds Braxton turing 5 yrs. old meant that maybe it was time to have a "friends only" birthday party. No parents, grandparents, or uncles = a little crazy, but totally worth it! We had a BLAST! Braxton had a great time with all of his friends & we couldn't have been happier with how the morning turned out. Thanks to all who entrusted us with your kids for a few hours and also thank you for returning back to pick them up on time! LOL!!

This is how he looked all day

I had a lot of fun making the decorations for his party!

Thankfully I had a good helper when it came to making these
Angry Bird faces look just right.

 Ty was excited too!

Shane came up with an angry birds game that was a big hit!

My how these boys have grown!

 The party crew
(Thanks Abbey, Ella, Lukas, Jack, Jase, Levi, Eli (who was being shy) & the man behind the couch who didn't get the memo that no parents were invited to the party...just kidding Duane :D)

 Getting their cake on!

High Five Braxton! Happy 5th Birthday!!

Is it true? Can it be? Our first born is now a whole hand?! Braxton celebrated his 5th birthday while on vacation this summer! We spent Braxton's birthday in Wenatchee & couldn't have asked for a better way to spend his day at Grama & Grampa's. He was showered with love, phone calls from Nanna & Poppi, Uncle Justin & Uncle Loren, & even his buddy Levi. He opened gifts, played at the splash park, & made his birthday wish on a fish cake! Braxton Myles we love you more than life itself! You are such a gentle spirit, full of life, funny, caring, crafty, the best big brother Ty could ever have, and we couldn't imagine our life without you B! HaPpY BiRtHdAy!

Happy to be 5 yrs. old!

Love you Grama & Grampa!!!!

Look out Crescent Bar here we come!

This is marked our 4th year of soaking up the sun at one of our favorite places in Eastern Washington & getting a little crazy with the Visser family at Crescent Bar! The four adults braved about eight days with five pretty adorable, fun, wild, & sweet kids. I hope this summer tradition never ends!

We ventured out this year & rented jet skies for a couple of hours. It was SO MUCH FUN! Braxton had a blast & all of us couldn't stop smiling :D
While the rest of us got our kicks on the jet skies Ty enjoyed his day on the beach & he seemed to have just as much fun.

Summer of FUN!

June has come & gone in a blink of an eye! Before the summer started I thought to myself, "Goodness we have only two more months left of summer to do whatever we want & how are we going to make our days filled with fun?" So far I think we've managed pretty well. July is already getting filled up with soccer, vacation @ Crescent Bar with the Visser's, & Braxton turning 5yrs old. Trying to enjoy the moments before they gets away from us.

Gorgeous day to take in the sites at Bellingham Bay &
drink coco from the best coffee shop in town; Woods Coffee.

Boys enjoying the remodeled Pirate Ship at Boulevard Park.

B getting ready to jump the plank!

Celebrating the 4th of July eating some popciles that B made :D

Down at our favorite beach; summer can start now!

Couldn't keep Ty out of the sand or water.

My life wouldn't be the same without these ladies!

Celebrated my 33rd birthday with some of the cutest boys around

Ty's first experience with a sprinkler. He was addicted!

Even better than a sprinkler; walking around naked.

Braxton & Eli cooling off.

My first solo trip to Alaska to visit Loren & his beautiful girlfriend, Siray. I had an awesome time getting to see my bro in his element & meeting his wonderful friends. Thanks Loren for making my summer so special.

Thanks Mom & Dad for watching the boys while I galavanted in Alaska & Shane pretended to be a bachelor for 9 days! Boys had a wonderful time with you two!
