Family Photo Shoot

At the end of June we did what most families do these days & what most husbands dread...a family photo shoot! I have been wanting to have this done ever since I met my friend Julie Harrell @ MOPS 4 yrs ago. Julie is an incredible photographer & we fell in love with her style. I am beyond thrilled that I have these amazing photo's of my family to cherish for years to come! I'd love to post all of the pictures, but there is just too many (113 to be exact!). Here are a few of my favorite shots: (Julie didn't ask me to put in a plug, but if you are interested in having family photo's done, are pregnant, have kids, engaged, getting married, or whatever please take a look at her website. You don't have to live in Bellingham to enquirer about her services http://julieharrell.com/)

Part 1 of Summer 2012

Braxton will be 4 yrs. old on the 19th! He is now into soccer and is currently on a soccer team through the YMCA. Little did we know when we signed him up that Shane would be asked to coach. Shane is a natural at teaching little kids how to play soccer and is very patient & he has his work cut out for him (eight 3-4yrs. old). Super hero's is the latest & greatest in our house. It takes me back to growing up with Loren and playing with all of his super hero toys. Spider-Man & Iron-Man are the current favorites. So any guesses on what the birthday theme will be this year?

Ty is almost 8 months old and changing every day! He's on the fence about crawling & just when I think he's about to take his first crawl he backs up. It's funny because with Braxton I wanted so badly for him to make all of his milestones when they were "supposed" to happen. With Ty I'm not rushing it and somewhat thankful that I don't have him crawling around yet (I'm terrible!). Ty LOVES & I mean LOVES tags. Anything with a tag & Ty's all over it which is so cute (ok everything Ty does is so cute). Bath time is a big deal for both boys now that they get to share the big bath together. The only down side to this is that Ty HATES getting out of the tub. He's not shy about his feelings either and will let me have it for what seems like forever, but in reality it's only about two minutes. We're excited to see his personality shine!

More summer fun to come...

 Happy Father's Day Daddy!

 Ty's 1st tractor ride

Braxton loves his "marshmallows" & Mt. Baker

 B's a natural

Half time break/telling me all about soccer
(Ty on the other hand would rather get into my purse...smart kid)

 Go Braxton!
