Little B has made some wonderful little beach buddies this summer. We are at the "beach" (Lake Whatcom) at least once a week with friends trying to stay cool! Today we were wondering how we are going to survive when the weather changes and we have to stay inside! I don't know who is stressing more the moms or the kiddos?
(Grant, Braxton, Levi, Jase, Audrey, Addy, William, Isaac, & Aliza)
Today Shane and I celebrate 8 years of marriage! Seriously, I couldn't be more in love with my best friend. Thank you Shane for loving me despite my craziness, Abbey stubbornness, days when I don't feel like changing out of my pj's (aka sweatpants), when I decide to try and make something new for dinner and it doesn't turn out the way it should, and when I have had a long day with Braxton and need someone to just listen. God blessed me with a wonderful husband, best friend, and soul mate. Love you Shanie!!

Wow, to think that we now have a two year old is absolutely crazy!! We are just amazed at how the two years have flown by and how much Braxton has grown since last summer. He is doing so much now and keeps us very busy, but very happy. He is off the charts in height (38.75 inches) and 80% in weight (31.5lbs)!! He can say up to 20 words and starting to put two words together. Currently his new favorite words are "no, me, one more, yellow, yum, hi, bubble, & apple". The night before he turned two he used the "big boy" potty and has kept with it at least once a day. We are loving life with Braxton and can't imagine our world without him. We love you B!

At the beginning of July we set off with our good friends the Visser's to Crescent Bar, WA! Although the trip was short it was the best 4 days & 3 nights we could have ever imagined. We stayed in a sweet two bedroom & 1800 sq. ft. condo on the golf course which couldn't have been more perfect with three children under the age of 5! Our days were full of playing outside, swimming at the pool, boys golfing, girls sun bathing, and a day down by the river! Our nights were spent chasing the kiddos around the condo, grubbing on awesome BBQ by Mr. Duane, enjoying ice cream from the local ice cream shop, and once the kiddos went to bed we all crashed on the couch wondering if we could stay up past 10pm. Thank you Kyrsten, Duane, Abbey & Ella for an awesome trip and great memories! Can't wait to see where next year takes us!!!
