Home Brew 101

This weekend Braxton got his first experience in making some of Buddy Shane's Bad-Ass Brew. Shane had an itch to brew and spent the afternoon on Sunday making an IPA. Braxton was very curious as to what his Daddy was doing and made sure he was included in the process. Can't wait to have something in our brew fridge besides water (even though it is really good water)!

Labor of Love

These stain glass pieces were made for Braxton by his Poppi for Christmas. We had his hand and foot prints done when he was about three months old. Poppi worked his magic and this is the end result! We are so proud of these that we just had to share it with everyone. Aren't they precious?!

Blast from the Past!

This past weekend we had the chance to catch up with some old friends. When I say "old" I mean that I have known my friend, Julie, since I was about three!! She was my first friend when my family lived in Port Orchard and we have been in contact ever since. It was great to see one another after so many years and have our boys & hubbies meet for the first time. Here are a few pictures from our reunion and of course we had to take them to our favorite restaurant, Boundary Bay! Is there any place else?

Spring Fever

Lately, Braxton has been having Spring fever and in the afternoon all he wants to do is play outside (I don't blame him). So, on Monday we took advantage of the nice weather and went for a walk to one of our favorite parks in the neighborhood, Huckleberry Park. Braxton has come a long way from where he was last year and was able to climb the stairs by himself, slide down the slide (with some help), run (not walk) up and down the little hills, and play on the drums. Here are a few pictures from his afternoon at the park:

Some bark and juice anyone?

Look at me I'm driving!

A natural on the drums just like his Uncle Loren
